Booking Info
Making a booking
Our booking staff know the properties very well, we are happy to help you in selecting a property that will be suitable to your needs. If any person or persons in your group have special requirements please inform us and we will try to accommodate this wherever possible. When you have selected a suitable cottage you can book and pay for it immediately on the website through a secure payment process therefore you can be confident that your debit or credit card details are safe. If you would prefer you can call us and we will make a provisional booking for you from which we would require our booking form to be completed and send back to us in the post with either a cheque or your preferred card details. If you are booking more than 6 weeks in advance we require a deposit payment of one third of the rental cost plus the booking fee. If you are booking less than six weeks in advance we require payment in full.
Property details
All of our properties are fully equipped for self-catering holidays. This means that there will be crockery, cutlery, and cooking facilities appropriate to the number of guests that the property accommodates. For most properties the cost of heating and electricity is included in the rental price, but for a few it is an extra; check the individual property details to confirm. Because all of our properties are independently inspected you can be confident of good standards. You can find a summary of the requirements for each of the star gradings here.
Arrival & departure
Arrival and departure times for the property you have booked will be confirmed in writing when we have received your final balance payment. Most of our lettings commence at 3.00pm on the day of your arrival and end at 10.00am on the day of departure. If these times differ it will be clearly displayed on the property page.
Linen
Most of our properties include bed linen and all will have 2 pillows per person and duvets or blankets. Some may include towels – check the individual property details when booking. You are welcome to bring your own linen to properties where it is not provided or to take advantage of the hire service. Details and prices will be displayed in the relevant booking section.
