Catch your own dinner
Dorset is famed for its fish, so why not catch your own? Bring your rod on holiday and get settled down for a great day casting the line. Free fishing locations in Dorset include the River Frome from Wareham, Hamworthy Lake in Poole, and bankside fishing of the River Stour in Throop, near Dorset. Alternatively, if you don’t fancy the drive, Lyme Regis has a huge range of fishing trips right on the coast! Just head down to the seafront and you’ll see plenty advertised.
