    “This is a lovely cottage.”

If we had a problem it was due to getting in and out of the parking space because of the slope, the turning angles and the rough stone ground. If this area could be of tarmac like the rest of the road in front of the cottage it would help considerably.

Walking to the beach and the shops could also be a challenge because of the gradient on the lane, especially coming back, but we are being picky here.

Thank you so much for your feedback. We’re delighted that you thought the cottage was lovely and really appreciate the excellent rating you have given us. Damson Tree Cottage is in an elevated position providing sea views out to the Cobb at Lyme Regis. It’s a downhill walk to the village and the beach (always an advantage!) which means the walk back is uphill, albeit a very pleasant 10-15 minute stroll up a country lane, with often lots of beautiful wildlife to see (rabbits, pheasants and more!). We know that access to the two large parking spaces is narrow and have asked Lyme Bay Holidays to include a picture of it on the website to provide clarity to our guests. Property Owner
