    “Property was as listed, excellent in every way.”

    We enjoyed having the pool close to the property. Plenty of things to do in the area and local pubs for evening meals. The welcome pack was a nice touch. The only draw back was that we thought it a little expensive.

Located halfway between the popular seaside towns of Lyme Regis and Seaton, the Pinewood Retreat is a well-maintained lodge site which includes both an indoor and outdoor swimming pool - perfect for a family friendly holiday. Seaton also boasts a mile-long pebble beach where water sports enthusiasts can try their hand at kayaking or paddle boarding. For family days out, visit Seaton Wetlands Centre, where you can enjoy beautiful marshland and reedbeds alongside the River Axe; there are five bird hides and nearly 4km of level trails and boardwalks suitable for wheelchair, bike and pushchairs. The delightful seaside town of Lyme Regis has much to offer its visitors, boasting a maze of narrow streets filled with craft and antique shops, galleries and cafes. Take a stroll along the world-famous Cobb causeway overlooking the ancient harbour, where fishing trips can be enjoyed, or try your hand at fossil hunting in the area. The scenic coastal path offers excellent walking opportunities and spectacular views of the stunning Jurassic coast, whilst the gently shelving sands and sparkling waters of Lyme Bay provide the perfect place in which to relax and unwind.
