    “We had a lovely stay and would like to stay again however there are few things that need attention!”

    - The double bed needs changing as it is worn, sinks and you can feel all of the springs - The single beds don’t suit/ fit adults, they are too short in length and very small - perhaps this should be advertised? - Please could you provide more coat hooks and some shoe storage. The storage cupboard near the door was full of stuff so we couldn’t use it - The ensuite shower has an issue with the tiles bulging and they will most likely come off the wall soon. When my husband had a shower he ...

Hazelwood 4 is a newly completed 4 star Gold property, 2 bedroomed lodge located in a quiet holiday park setting on the Devon/Dorset border. The large open plan living area has a contemporary feel with a high vaulted ceiling and large French doors which flood the room with light. The seating area with wall mounted TV is a comfortable area to relax and enjoys the views over the park. The kitchen is fitted with a range of stylish units, high quality appliances and a central cooking island with seating, with a separate dining table and chairs for family mealtimes. The two bedrooms are spacious and well furnished, with the kingsize bedroom benefitting from an ensuite shower room. A twin bedroom and additional family bathroom makes this an ideal choice for families or couples alike. A decked veranda wraps around the side and front of the lodge and has an outdoor table and chairs making this a great for a spot of alfresco dining or to simply sit with a drink and enjoy the tranquil surroundings. A welcome pack for your arrival ensures a great start to your holiday and will include milk, tea and a selection of locally sourced produce and treats. Located halfway between the popular seaside towns of Lyme Regis and Seaton, the Pinewood Retreat is a well-maintained lodge site which includes both an indoor and outdoor swimming pool - perfect for a family friendly holiday. Charmouth 3 miles; Axminster 6 miles; Bridport 10 miles; Sidmouth 16 miles.

The delightful seaside town of Lyme Regis has much to offer its visitors, boasting a maze of narrow streets filled with craft and antique shops, galleries and cafes. Take a stroll along the world-famous Cobb causeway overlooking the ancient harbour, where fishing trips can be enjoyed, or try your hand at fossil hunting in the area. The scenic coastal path offers excellent walking opportunities and spectacular views of the stunning Jurassic coast, whilst the gently shelving sands and sparkling waters of Lyme Bay provide the perfect place in which to relax and unwind. Note: Swimming pool needs children to be supervised at all times.
Note: During May and June there is some work taking place on the site with some new chalet bases being built and new chalets erected. Hazelwood 4 is on the opposite side of the site to where the work is takin place, therefore any disruption should be minimal.
