    “Wonderful stay!”

Barnes Meadow is a quirky 'village' themed development built around 20 years ago, it is worth taking a stroll around to see the other properties, many thatched. The holiday cottage is absolutely perfect for a comfortable get away. Two 'private' parking spaces and a small, very secure garden is perfect for families especially with dogs. You tend to enter and exit via the back garden/back door, which is the large glassed area on the photo. First impressions when I walked in was 'eeeek', dark brown, antique mish-mash of dining chairs and table. Once explored the entire house, which is SOOOOOOO bigger than expected, we fell in love. It's spacious kitchen is very well-equipped. Some of the cupboards are looking tired but overall the kitchen was perfect. Oh and two fridges incl a HUGE American style fridge freezer. In the glassed 'conservatory' seating area... good luck working out the TV!! Steps down into the lounge area, really cosy in the evenings. Upstairs, again very spacious. Main bedroom was so comfortable. All other rooms are superb too. Fabulous views across the valley. I cannot stress how lovely this property is. As others have said though, it does feel like someone has moved out for a while and judging by the fact I can't see any future dates advertised, perhaps they're moving back in soon?! If you are able to stay... an absolute MUST... walk down the riverside walk into Lyme Regis (path starts by the Talbot Arms (not dog friendly)). At the end of your walk down, you will pass the old Mill area... pop in for a beer at the micro-pub! All in all, a brilliant holiday and fantastic holiday property. *****
