The property

This gorgeous home is located in the ever-popular seaside town of Lyme Regis, at the meeting point of the mountainous West Dorset and East Devon beaches. 6 Chatterton Mews, with its contemporary décor and wonderful fixtures and fittings throughout, is a lovely getaway for families and friends wishing to explore this Dorset AONB and the Jurassic Coast. The open-plan living area is guaranteed to be a social hub; give the chef space in the wide, open, and bright kitchen while they learn how to use the in-built appliances, which include a handy dishwasher, microwave, fridge, and freezer. The kitchen has enough workstations to prep and cook at and opens up into the dining area, where you can gather around the dining table and enjoy a home-cooked meal. A welcome pack for your arrival ensures a great start to your holiday and will include milk, tea and a selection of locally sourced produce and treats. After supper, return to the well-appointed and bright living area, which has direct access to the garden through the French doors and where you may watch a movie on the Smart TV, read a book, or challenge your loved ones to one of the games available. Outside, there is an enclosed patio with chairs, great for alfresco dining or simply a drink in the weather, as well as a charming country path behind it where you can enjoy hikes in Upper Lyme or simply take in the breath-taking sea view from the meadow. As night falls, make your way upstairs to the bedrooms, which include a super-king-size with zip/link beds that can be arranged as twins on request, a TV, and sea views from the window, a king-size with its own en-suite bathroom and a TV, and a small 4" double with sea views, giving you plenty of options. Hairdryers are provided in both the king-size and super-king-size bedrooms for your convenience. Lyme Regis is a charming seaside town known for its many historic houses, centuries-old Cobb port, and unspoiled landscape. In addition to several local individual stores and cafés, the town centre has good retail facilities for day-to-day requirements. There is a sailing club, bowling, a theatre, and a golf course. The town is located on the magnificent and unspoiled Devon and Dorset Jurassic coast, which was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2001 and is a perfect base for exploring both Devon and Dorset. Learn more about your surroundings and enjoy the scenic landscapes of the Dorset Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, a charming nature reserve incorporating coastal cliffs, beautiful beaches, rolling hills, ancient woodlands, and open moorland, and home to a magnificent stretch of the South West Coast Path, offering some of the Jurassic Coast's most dramatic sights. Stay at 6 Chatterton Mews to check off the attractions of Dorset.
