    The large garden has a perimeter of walls and fences which we and all previous guests have found to be secure for our dogs. The country lanes are narrow in this beautiful hamlet and that's part of the charm, most people seem to manage as there is a turning space opposite. Property Owner

A beautiful, detached Grade II listed thatched cottage quietly situated in a wonderful rural setting just two miles from the coast at Lyme Regis. The property's sunny garden has two seating areas, both offering lovely countryside views. This is an ideal retreat for ramblers with stunning countryside on the doorstep, the local area is criss-crossed with footpaths and bridleways and a nearby footpath leads to an attractive riverside walk to Lyme Regis town and seafront in around forty minutes. The local pub serving good food, the post office store and the village children's playground are all around a twenty minute walk away. This delightful cottage makes a perfect base to enjoy all that this picturesque and popular stretch of the Jurassic coast has to offer. The area was chosen by TV chef Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall for his River Cottage HQ at Park Farm, where you can treat yourself to a great meal. Just a short drive takes you to the stunning Jurassic Coast at Lyme Regis. This delightful historic seaside town boasts a maze of narrow streets, with an interesting array of shops and cafes, whilst the sandy beach lends itself to great bathing and watersports, and the bustling little harbour offers regular fishing trips, or try your hand at fossil hunting. Within an easy drive is the quaint town of Axminster, or how about a ride on the Seaton Tramway? A glorious location for a varied and interesting holiday.
