Offering wonderful views of the sea and famous Cobb and harbour, Tamarind Tree is a delightful, ground floor apartment situated just off Broad Street in a quiet position in the heart of Lyme Regis. It forms part of Sea Tree House, a Grade II listed Georgian house dating back over 200 years and with a fascinating heritage; Jane Austen probably stayed here in 1804 when she and some of her family visited Lyme. Furnished and decorated to a high standard the property is equipped with everything a couple or small family require for a relaxing holiday. Lovingly restored by the current owners, the original character of the property has been retained and includes large sash windows and attractive features throughout which add to the feeling of historic charm and elegance. The kitchen is fitted with all the necessities for a short break, whilst the traditional lounge features ample seating where you can sit back and relax with a book while enjoying the views. When it comes to nighttime, there is a spacious double bedroom with an en-suite shower room, perfect for freshen uping. An additional child’s fold up bed can also be provided. Ideally situated within easy walking distance of Lyme's beaches, shops, pubs and restaurants, Tamarind Tree Apartment is an excellent choice to enjoy a traditional, seaside holiday at any time of the year. Sea Tree House

Sea Tree House is a Grade II listed Georgian Townhouse situated in the picturesque seaside town of Lyme Regis, Dorset with stunning sea views along the Jurassic Coast to Portland and overlooking the iconic Cobb. Providing traditional accommodation for couples and small families, the building itself has a very interesting history being as a gentleman's residence in the mid 1800s; previously, the property was a boarding house where Jane Austen is believed to have stayed in 1804 and views of the Cobb may have inspired her to write the book 'Persuasion'. Currently arranged as apartments, both Tulip Tree and Tamarind Tree retain a host of character features typical of its period including large bay windows (with lovely sea views to the Cobb), high ceilings, panelled doors, picture rails, deep skirting boards, sash windows, ornate cornices, fine main staircase and fireplaces.
