“The apartment was very clean and the kitchen extremely well equipped.”

The view is wonderful. Thank you for the excellent welcome pack. A note for the owners - the number "1" on the keypad on the car park door, is very stiff and difficult to press. We had to prop the door open when packing our luggage in the car, so we didn't get shut out.

“Excellent, well equipped and spotlessly clean.”

Mattress and Bedding 5*. My elderly father and I were over the moon with the Apartment. A well loved "home from home". We look forward to returning. We had an issue with heating, a problem in one room that would have been disruptive to fix whilst there. But thanks to the speedy, professional maintenance service, we were warm and toasty very quickly. I believe the problem is due to be fixed ASAP when the apartment will be vacant. Thank you for such a wonderful few days away.

“Amazing holiday lovely new mattress to sleep on.”

We think it would be nice to have a small coffee table between the two chairs. It's a pitty about the west bay boy racers it must drive the residents to distraction, they will in all probity kill someone in the future. Richard and Janice.

The only down side was it was a bit noisy in the evenings with young lads driving their cars and motorbikes up and down the road which we'd not encountered before while staying there.

We were happy with the facilities. We struggled with the bed in the en suite, both the size and the mattress topper which had a mind of its own and kept slipping.

“We have been to the flat for several years now - we love the facilities it provides and the view.”

It certainly is a nice apartment. However for a while the condition of the beds has been deteriorating steadily and this year was awful for us. Mattress toppers don’t disguise the fact that the bed mattresses have collapsed. We were so uncomfortable and worried that one of us was going to fall out of bed that it spoilt it for us. We feel that we couldn’t book again unless this issue has been addressed. Sorry to be a bit negative-but this is easily corrected. We really would love to return as it is a splendid place and suits our needs to a T.

Bridport 1.5 miles; Lyme Regis 11 miles

West Bay, fondly known as “The Gateway to the Dorset Jurassic Coast” and popularised by the TV series Broadchurch, lies close to the glorious sandstone cliffs of Golden Cap, at the western end of the dramatic pebbly Chesil Beach. This is a wonderful seaside location, perfect for family holidays, offering scenic walks along the South West Coast Path, as well as ample opportunities to try your hand at sea fishing, crabbing, boating and golf. Visit the homes of Thomas Hardy and TE Lawrence, the Tank Museum at Bovington or the Naval air Museum at Yeovil. Only 1.5 miles away is the vibrant market town of Bridport, featured in the TV series, River Cottage. The area holds plenty of attractions to suit the whole family! Just a short drive West takes you to Charmouth for fossil hunting, to the picturesque seaside resort of Lyme Regis, and to River Cottage HQ near Axminster.
