Please note: The garden has an open pond, a slow running stream, a raised swimming pool and a hot tub so supervision of younger children is required at all times. Occupation of this property is from 4pm. The swimming pool uses a heat exchange system taking hot air from the atmosphere and heating the pool to reasonable temperatures. So ensuring the pool is covered when not in use will ensure maximum heat.

Kilmington is a pretty and well-kept village just off the A35, about 2 miles outside the market town of Axminster. The village is well serviced with a small shop and post office at its centre, as well as having an excellent farm shop providing local produce and a small coffee shop.
There are two local pubs in the village - The New Inn, a pet-friendly establishment with a large beer garden for those sunny afternoons, offers great food and a warm welcome. The Old Inn is an award-winning pub, offering a fresh menu each day using local produce, as well as a range of local beers and draught lagers.
The area is a haven for walkers, with the gentle climb to the top of Shute Beacon offering stunning views over the Axe Valley.
With easy access to the A35, a short drive will take you to a number of coastal towns on the Jurassic Coast. If you really fancy a treat, even closer is Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall's River Cottage Canteen, located in the centre of Axminster.
Prices and Availability
As a general rule, short breaks are always available outside of peak summer and school holiday weeks, though this will vary per property and will be specified if different from this. Short break availability will automatically show on the booking calendar, normally within two weeks of the start date if within peak season.
