About Lyme Regis
Lyme Regis nestles in an area of outstanding natural beauty at the point where the rugged Dorset and Devon coastlines meet - the heart of this small stretch of a natural World Heritage site. A popular holiday destination for generations this once busy port is famous for its sandy beach and its picturesque harbour, protected by a 13th century Cobb Wall.
From traditional family holidays, romantic weekend breaks as well as stunning scenery and glorious coastal and countryside walking Lyme Regis has it all. Lose yourself in a maze of narrow winding streets, independent shops, galleries, cafes, restaurants, pubs and even a Museum are just waiting to be explored.
Surrounded by unspoilt countryside, Lyme’s golden, south-facing beaches, clean safe water and landscaped seafront gardens make it the ideal base for your holiday.
