A wonderful feature is the terraced, rear garden with a summerhouse and superb, far-reaching countryside views. Whitford is located on the banks of the River Axe and the popular Devon village of Colyton is around a mile away where you can find a number of pubs, restaurants, tea rooms and specialist privately owned shops. A further couple of miles will take you to the seaside resorts of Beer and Seaton and their beaches on the spectacular Jurassic Coast.

Surrounded by stunning countryside the property is a haven for wildlife and perfect for dog walkers and ramblers with an abundance of footpaths and bridleways on the doorstep. A tranquil retreat, ideal for a peaceful, relaxing holiday at any time of the year.


Please note: supervision of younger children is required in the rear garden due to the tiered levels. A maximum of 1 dog is accepted. If you would like to bring a dog then this is charged at £20 per week (or part week).

About Devon (Colyton)

The ancient market town of Colyton with its winding streets and river running through its centre sits in the heart of Devons' Axe Valley. Set in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, this Medieval town was once a thriving centre of the wool trade.

Colyton has a good selection of shops, including a butcher, chemist, garden centre and a varied choice of pubs and tea rooms. Its location makes it a perfect setting out point for walking, cycling and exploring the surrounding coast and countryside.
