“A great property in an excellent location.”

Spot on for two people and our pooch and well equipped. Reasonably priced parking only a few minutes walk away and overnight / early morning on street parking available during our stay. Lots of great pubs and eateries in Lyme Regis and the brewery is highly recommended!

“Having previously stayed in the upstairs apartment (The Retreat) we knew the building well which is in an excellent location, well equipped and very clean.”

The recently installed one way film to the windows is a good addition. Only issue is the shallow shower tray is very slow to drain and could result in flooding if care is not taken when showering.

“This is our second stay here.”

..lovely little apartment, modern, clean, cosy. Comfy bed. Privacy covering on the windows was applied while we were there which is great. Good location right in the centre...you can obviously hear traffic noise if you sleep on the sofabed and can hear upstairs guests. Account for parking charges.. currently £35 for three days £65 for a week at Woodmead carpark. Great little place!

“Although we had a lovely stay in Lyme, the property really lacked basic necessities considering we were staying for 5 nights.”

For example, there was no washing machine for our clothes (there was a dishwasher but we'd much rather have clean clothes!) I ended up hand washing everything which took a long time. Also, there were no tea towels to dry anything and no cloths to wipe down kitchen work tops, generally a very basic accommodation with no amenities, the property itself was lovely but we would have expected to have cloths to go with the spray. Due to another flat above us with the same layout we struggled to get to sleep as we could hear everything. A fab location but not a 4 star stay as stated.
