Offering wonderful sea and coastal views Westdale Edge is an impressive, detached 4-bedroom house situated on the outskirts of this popular Devon seaside town.

Surrounded by mature gardens of almost an acre the property provides very comfortable accommodation for up to 8 guests. Perfect for a relaxing family holiday this light, bright and spacious 1930's house has a south-facing aspect which from its vantage point allows some truly wonderful views of Lyme Bay.

Seaton is a designated gateway to the Jurassic coast and is situated midway between Lyme Regis and Sidmouth and the coastal path goes past the front of the house. It has a number of pubs and restaurants and is famous for its Jurassic Coast Visitors Centre, Tramway and beautiful Estuary Wetlands, a haven for wildlife, especially birds.

A welcome pack for your arrival ensures a great start to your holiday and will include milk, tea and a selection of locally sourced produce and treats. Around half a mile from the beach and town and with ample parking this is an attractive retreat from which you can enjoy this stunning part of world heritage coastline.


Please note: A refundable £100 security deposit will be required for all bookings. Supervision of younger children may be required both in the extensive gardens and when using the first floor balconies. Occupation of this property is from 4pm. No short breaks allowed.

About Devon (Seaton)

Tucked away in a corner of East Devon, is the beautiful, unspoilt Axe Valley. At the mouth of the River Axe is the friendly, coastal resort of Seaton. The mile-long beach at Seaton is excellent for water sports, from sailing and swimming, to diving and windsurfing.
With the new and fantastic Seaton Jurassic centre now open, Seaton's location on the Jurassic coast make it well worth a visit. The town has a good selection of small, independent shops, as well as a couple of well-known supermarkets. There's a good choice of eateries, including The Shed Steakhouse, Flipside and The Malthouse, as well as two very good fish and chip shops and Chinese and Indian restaurants.
Seaton's unique tramway runs inland, along the Axe Estuary, to the medieval market town of Colyton and is perfect for birdwatchers, transport enthusiasts or those who simply want to watch the beautiful riverside scenery glide by. Next to the tramway is the new Seaton Marshes Nature Reserve. The installation of a viewing hide and wheelchair-friendly paths means this beautiful area and its wildlife - wildfowl and wading birds in winter; dragonflies and butterflies in summer - are now easily accessible all year round.
