Forming part of an imposing Victorian seaside residence, the property has been recently refurbished to a very good standard and provides flexible accommodation for up to four guests. Seaton, a traditional Devon seaside town, is a designated gateway to the Jurassic coast and is situated midway between Lyme Regis and Sidmouth. It has a number of pubs and restaurants and is famous for its Tramway and beautiful Estuary Wetlands, a haven for wildlife, especially birds.

A welcome pack for your arrival ensures a great start to your holiday and will include milk, tea and a selection of locally sourced produce and treats. Around half a mile from the beach and town and with parking for one car this is a great apartment from which to enjoy this unique part of Jurassic coastline.

About Devon (SEATON)

Tucked away in a corner of East Devon, is the beautiful, unspoilt Axe Valley. At the mouth of the River Axe is the friendly, coastal resort of Seaton. The mile-long beach at Seaton is excellent for water sports, from sailing and swimming, to diving and windsurfing.
With the new and fantastic Seaton Jurassic centre now open, Seaton's location on the Jurassic coast make it well worth a visit. The town has a good selection of small, independent shops, as well as a couple of well-known supermarkets. There's a good choice of eateries, including The Shed Steakhouse, Flipside and The Malthouse, as well as two very good fish and chip shops and Chinese and Indian restaurants.
Seaton's unique tramway runs inland, along the Axe Estuary, to the medieval market town of Colyton and is perfect for birdwatchers, transport enthusiasts or those who simply want to watch the beautiful riverside scenery glide by. Next to the tramway is the new Seaton Marshes Nature Reserve. The installation of a viewing hide and wheelchair-friendly paths means this beautiful area and its wildlife - wildfowl and wading birds in winter; dragonflies and butterflies in summer - are now easily accessible all year round.
