Brookhaven is a contemporary, single-storey accommodation, located in the pretty village of Musbury, Devon. A perfect retreat for a couple, with a studio-style layout, this property is situated in the East Devon AONB and just a short drive from the World Heritage Jurassic Coast. Close to village amenities including local shops and a popular village pub, this is a great choice for those seeking a relaxing and peaceful break amidst the Devon countryside. Quietly situated in the grounds of the owners’ own residence, you’ll arrive to find off-road parking allowing you to unpack with ease. A pathway takes you through the garden to the entrance, with wooden steps leading to the front door. The accommodation is bright and spacious with the Velux windows in the vaulted ceiling, flooding the room with light. The kitchen is well-equipped with everything needed for a self-catering holiday and with farm shops selling local produce you can create meals to enjoy along with a glass of one of the local beverages. The living area is a perfect spot to relax with a book or watch TV. When nighttime comes around, the king size bed will ensure a restful night’s sleep, with a stylish shower room with walk-in shower guaranteed to set you up for the day ahead. Outside, there is an enclosed gravel seating area enjoying far reaching views over the farmland and countryside, the perfect backdrop for a spot of alfresco dining when the weather allows. Situated between the market town of Axminster and the seaside town of Seaton, you will want to get out and about to explore this most picturesque part of Devon. With a pretty harbour at one end and iconic white limestone cliffs at the other, Seaton is a great choice for those wanting to while away a few hours by the sea. The mile long beach is a popular spot for swimming or paddleboarding, or simply sitting on the esplanade with an ice cream and taking in the coastal views. The Seaton Tramway follows a route along the River Axe estuary and takes passengers on a leisurely journey to nearby Colyton, a medieval market town steeped in history and worthy of a visit. A short trip just over the border into Dorset and you’ll reach Lyme Regis with its family friendly beaches, iconic Cobb Harbour and great selection of independent shops, galleries, and eateries. Other popular days out include Forde Abbey and Gardens or the pretty fishing village of Beer with its quaint streets, artisan shops and tea rooms. East Devon is a popular destination for walkers with the South West Coastal path rewarding with stunning coastal views. Many footpaths and bridleways criss-cross the area with Trinity Hill offering great walking opportunities as well as the chance to visit the River Cottage Kitchen & Store for breakfast or lunch, with incredible views over the Axe Valley and beyond. Axminster 3 miles; Seaton 4 miles; Lyme Regis 5 miles.

Musbury is a small village in East Devon lying between the towns of Axminster and Seaton with much of the surrounding unspoilt countryside in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB), and the centre of the village is a designated Conservation Area. There are plenty of spectacular walks in the surrounding landscape of wooded combes, vast areas of heathland, fertile river valleys and breathtaking cliffs or hilltops. The area is rich in wildlife with local nature reserves providing sanctuaries for birdlife including ospreys around the Axe estuary. From Musbury Castle, a hill fort above the village, there are spectacular views of the Axe Valley. Musbury is three miles from picturesque Seaton Bay with its mile long shingle beach on the Jurassic Coastline, a natural World Heritage Site. The attractive fishing port of Beer is also close-by as is the historic town of Axminster, with medieval minster church by the beautiful river Axe, weekly market, a museum containing antique Axminster carpets and ‘River Cottage’ produce shop and café.
