“It was billed on your website many times as romantic, and it could hardly have been less so: the sofa, such as it was, was not opposite the television, just two wing chairs; the beds, though pushed together, had single duvets, not a double/kingsize, so no romance there, then, except in high summer.”
The place was nice, set up for an elderly couple like us, with spectacular views and nice and engaged landlords, so it was a nice stay, but your website oversold the romance bit something chronic. It would have been a five-star rating if you hadn't.
The wifi did not work in the sitting room, but it worked fine in the kitchen where the signal didn't have to go through a former exterior wall; there ought to be room boosters to enable use in the sitting room. Maybe there will be.
The instructions for the TV were out of date, so we were puzzled, but it was all sorted out fast while we were there, and clear instructions left for us and future users.
A folding card table would be nice for the sitting room, as anything needing a table (eg jigsaws on rainy days) had to be done in the kitchen. (We brought our own board to move it off for meals).
There were plenty of holiday-style books, and useful maps. To be recommended as a good place to stay for people who are comfortable with each other. And the views really are gorgeous day-long, with beautiful large windows and clear panes for maximum pleasure.
