“The cottage is lovely and comfortable with everything you would need for your stay.”

The only downfall is it’s so near to the main road which I don’t recall is mentioned in the listing and can at times be noisy and intrusive.

The property

A delightful stone cottage, Blacksmiths Cottage forms part of a converted forge in the heart of the village of Uplyme. Refurbished to a very high standard the stylish, modern interior provides very comfortable accommodation and compliments the cottage's original character and charm. Within easy walking distance is the village general store, a childrens playground and a public house which serves good food. A short drive or a pleasant riverside walk of about 30 minutes leads to Lyme Regis town and beach. A great location for those that enjoy walking, Uplyme is surrounded by beautiful countryside with an abundance of footpaths and bridleways. A welcome pack for your arrival ensures a great start to your holiday and will include milk, tea and a selection of locally sourced produce and treats. With parking for one car this is a fabulous base for those looking to explore this wonderful part of World heritage coastline.
