    “A lovely and spacious apartment in a great location with the bonus of a view over the sea and the coastline.”

    The apartment is well equipped and comfortable. We received a friendly and welcoming greeting from the owner. Lyme Regis is a pretty town with good access to coastal walks and we particularly enjoyed the fossil walk arranged through the Town Museum.

The property

With stunning views of the sea and famous Cobb and harbour, Tulip Tree is a beautiful, first floor apartment situated just off Broad Street in a quiet position in the heart of Lyme Regis. It forms part of Sea Tree House, a grand Grade II listed Georgian house dating back over 200 years and with a fascinating heritage. Jane Austen is thought to have stayed here in 1804 when she and some of her family visited Lyme. Lovingly restored by the current owners, the original character of the property has been retained and includes large sash windows and attractive features throughout, which add to the feeling of historic charm and elegance. Furnished and decorated to a high standard the property is equipped with everything a couple or small family require for a relaxing holiday. Ideally situated within easy walking distance of Lyme's beaches, shops, pubs and restaurants this central location makes this is an excellent choice to enjoy a traditional, seaside holiday at any time of the year.
