“We found the cottage to be a good base for travelling around the local area, it was clean, comfortable and homely.”
As to be expected there was some road noise, though not too obtrusive. The outside space was difficult to access for our elderly dog as the stairs are very steep with a low ceiling point that was a little awkward when carrying her up and down. Worth noting that there isn't an outside tap to clean off muddy dogs/boots at the cottage, we have a portable washer in the car so it wasn't a problem to use that, best to be prepared if travelling in wetter weather and heading out to enjoy the lovely ...

The living area is very cosy and comfortable, the kitchen is well equipped with everything needed to cater easily, the tv is just standard freeview, but there was a nice selection of games and dvds for the evenings. The bedrooms were comfortable and we especially appreciated the showers having decent water pressure.
The welcome hamper was a nice surprise and we all enjoyed sampling some local treats. Overall we enjoyed our stay and if it wasn't for the garden access not suiting would very happily visit again.
