    “Could have been so lovely.”

    ... Sadly, the property was very tired and in need of thorough a freshen up. We've never encountered so many items within a holiday home that were broken or didn't work. Cleanliness wasn't the best, with mould present in every room too. We found mouldy crockery in the cupboard. The property smelt damp and unpleasant. We came home a day early, to avoid having to sleep in the uncomfortable beds another night. Can't say we will be returning.

Part of a conversion of the former New Inn in the village of Uplyme this pleasant, modern ground floor apartment is just a few minutes' drive from the sea front at Lyme Regis. The property has been refurbished to a very good standard providing an ideal base for couples or families. There is a spacious open plan living space with all modern facilities required and two bedrooms and two bathrooms. In the village is a general store, children's playground, a public house which serves good food and a pleasant riverside walk of about 30 minutes leads to Lyme Regis. Ideal for walkers Uplyme is surrounded with unspoilt countryside making this a good choice to explore all that this beautiful part of the Jurassic Coast has to offer. The area was chosen by TV chef Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall for his River Cottage HQ at Park Farm, where you can treat yourself to a great meal. Just a short drive takes you to the stunning Jurassic Coast at Lyme Regis.
