    “The apartment is on a steep hill into town which would be an issue for some people but benefits from having on site parking and a sea view from the living room and balcony.”

    The parking space is not clearly marked. We found the facilities and maintenance very disappointing - the apartment was not very clean, decoration was in need of updating, the beds were not very comfortable (double bed is very small), the fridge not very efficient at keeping food fresh and the balcony has weeds and rusty rails so not a pleasant area to sit out on. The block of 6 flats was not much occupied which was good as they are not very well soundproofed and have signs to that effect ...

It is in a very quiet location apart from the seagulls who live on top of the roof and make a noise 24 hours a day! We enjoyed our time in the town but unfortunately would not recommend this as a good holiday let - having spent five months on the road in various places this was the most disappointing of our accommodations.

    I’m sorry you were disappointed with your stay. This is in contrast to many previous very positive reviews. This property is fully managed by the holiday company, including the cleaning , and they are available to respond to you if you arrive and find that things are not as they should be. The details on the website clearly describe the location of the flat and the bed sizes and facilities available. The presence of seagulls is to be expected in seaside towns. Property Owner

A spacious and fully refurbished two bedroom apartment which from its elevated position enjoys far reaching views over Lyme Regis and the historic Cobb. Just a ten to fifteen minute walk from the seafront, harbour, restaurants and shops the property offers very good quality accommodation for couples or small families. A real feature of the property is the balcony offering an outside area to sit and relax and take in the wonderful views. The delightful seaside town of Lyme Regis has much to offer its visitors, boasting a maze of narrow streets filled with craft and antique shops, galleries and cafes.
