A haven for those looking for a peaceful setting within easy reach of the coast, the whole area is classified as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The South West Coast Path and Seatown Beach can be reached within a 20 minute walk with Charmouth and Chideock just 2 miles away. A regular bus service, within a 5 minute walk, goes to Charmouth, Lyme Regis and Axminster to the west and to Bridport, Dorchester and Weymouth to the east. There is a general store and Post Office in the village, together with a farm shop with its cafe and also the famous Moores bakery. Morecombelake is a small hillside village in West Dorset between Bridport and Lyme Regis, 1 mile inland from the World Heritage Jurassic Coast.
