“10/10 for location - ideally situated for many bars and eateries.”

Nice and cosy warm on arrival. We managed to secure parking from the Undercliff holiday lets right behind which made it so easy. Lounge was very cosy/small with just a two seater sofa which I suppose is enough. A foot stoll or coffee table would have made it work a bit better. Beautiful bay window with a seat which was lovely to look out of. Kitchen was adequately equipped and clean. Beautiful welcome pack with thoughtful items. Nice bathroom, clean and warm. All in all, a near perfect stay ...

All in all, a near perfect stay with just a couple of tweaks to ensure all round comfort.Coat hooks on door would have been nice and a bigger TV for those days that the weather stops you being out all day! “This was the 4th time we have stayed in The Studio.”

The biggest draw is the location. By the Cobb on the flat very close to the promenade so easy access to pubs and restaurants. The flat is small and cosy with everything you need. However it is starting to look a little tired. I note you can’t book it or the other 2 flats in the building after March so hoping it’s having a refurb. Disappointed the 2nd chair in the living room, still shown in the advertised pics as still it been replaced 2 years after it broke. Having 1 small sofa is not always ideal And it was nice to sit and read and look out the window. Cleanliness this time was an issue. I think the cleaner assumed the previous occupants had washed up and put nice clean plates and cups back in the cupboard. We had cereal bowls with bits stuck, cups with lines and a glass stuck to the shelf. Also sticky cup circles on the bed side table. So had to do a bit of cleaning ourselves before being able to use. Flat can be noisy if the upstairs flat is occupied. The courtyard out the back is a nice extra if you have a dog and sitting outside the front is lovely when the sun comes out. We shall keep an eye out to see if that flat returns to the market.

“The Studio was in a fantastic position - so close to the sea, the beach and all the amenities of the Cobb harbour, shops and restaurants.”

The property is on the ground floor of a large Edwardian seaside terrace where the house has been sub-divided into flats. It’s small but cosy and comfortable and clean. It is great for two people. Parking is a bit of a juggle. We parked outside to unload bags, then in the short stay opposite for a couple of hours (expensive) - then up steep hill to long stay for overnight.

Close to the beaches. Flat was very clean and spacious with everything we needed to cater for ourselves. Bed was very comfortable and quiet at night.

“We had a lovely three night stay at the Studio, the apartment was very clean and worked very well even though it was compact.”

The bed was very comfortable. When we left I told a lady in Lyme Bay Office’s that two of the lightbulbs in the bathroom were not working. The one was like it when we arrived ( someone else mentioned this in their review in October). The second stopped working whilst we were there, the one over the mirror.

“Knowing the property we had booked was available for another couple of days we decided to extend our stay.”

We contacted the local office who confirmed this and quoted us the extra price but couldn.t take the payment as this had to be done by the Sykes office in Cheshire who were to call us back. After a couple more calls this finally happened some 8 hours later and we were most unhappy to be charged an additional £30 booking fee for making the payment! The local Lyme Bay Holiday office is friendly, helpful and efficient. We couldn't be more pleased with their service. We cannot, however, say the same for the Sykes office in Cheshire and it is unlikely that we will consider extending any future stay.

“We had a marvellous stay in Lyme Regis which is a favourite place of ours.”

The property was spotless and well equipped. The location is ideal with easy access to the Cobb and Marine Parade, and a flat walk along to the main shopping street. Nearby are several little shops and eating places . Luckily the weather was perfect. Little dog Badger had a fantastic time. For the less abled the two little steps down from the kitchen could be a hazard. The car park (Holmbush) is quite close distance wise but it is up a VERY steep hill.

A quirky, cosy ground floor apartment ideally located in Ozone Terrace just a stone's throw from the famous Cobb harbour and beaches.
