We had such a lovely stay here and honestly didn’t want to leave!

The property is absolutely beautiful, really comfortable and had everything we needed for a relaxing family break. The hot tub was a huge hit with both the kids and us, the perfect way to unwind after a busy day. The children absolutely loved it, and there was plenty for everyone to enjoy. It was the perfect combination of beautiful surroundings, comfort and a bit of luxury. We all had such a lovely time and would happily come back again.

Another lovely week at The Stables this year.

The Stables had everything we needed for a great holiday. The hot tub at the end of every day was a real bonus. Hosts were around if needed. We had a great week visiting Charmouth beach, Lyme Regis, Seaton (for a ride on the tram), Sidmouth (great beach and lovely little shops) and visiting friends down this way (the Halfpenny Farm crew). Wonderful week - would definitely recommend!

!! What stunning accommodation. We absolutely loved our stay at the stables. The host Annabelle was so welcoming and shared lots of great local knowledge. I hope to stay here again soon.

Great location to explore the coastline and many other nearby attractions.

Both Steve and Annabelle were very hospitable with a warm welcome and were happy to share their local knowledge as to the best places to visit. The Stables was immaculate, being clean and spacious both inside and outside, with the added bonus of the hot tub. Great information pack contained within the property and we very much hope to return. Would highly recommend as a great place to unwind and explore the area as you would not be disappointed.

Great few days spent at the Stables.

Property was very clean, well equipped with comfy beds. Hot tub and outside space a bonus. Steve was very welcoming and helpful. Would recommend walk from Beer to Branscombe. Poco Pizza and Pilot Boat were good places to eat in Lyme.

We had a wonderful stay at The Stables for 4 nights in October - a very big thank you to both Annabelle and Steve for being excellent hosts and for providing a lovely place to stay and relax.

It is a perfect location being just on the main road, but just slightly off to avoid all of the noise. The property had everything we needed and the hot tub was certainly something to look forward to (despite rain every day!) We will definitely be looking to stay again in the future!

We found the accommodation in a perfect location of the local seaside towns and the south west coastal path.

The accommodation itself was very clean with super decor and well maintained Steve and Annabelle met us on arrival They were very pleasant and well informed on the local area which we found very useful.

The property is immaculate and furnished to a very high standard.It is in a perfect location to visit Sidmouth,Lyme Regis,Seaton and many other beautiful locations. Steve and Annabelle are excellent hosts,very friendly and welcoming and greeted us when we arrived to show us how to use the fabulous hot tub.

The house was spotless upon arrival.

Both Steve and Annabelle were around during the week to check the hot tub and in case there was anything we needed. The hot tub was a real bonus at the end of each busy day. We enjoyed Charmouth beach, Lyme Regis, went for a boat trip from Lyme Regis (only £15 each for an hour), went banger racing at Smeatharpe Stadium and enjoyed popping into Millers Farm Shop and Cafe just down the road. We had a wonderful week and would definitely stay here again. A delightful house with everything you could need.

The Stables is an amazing place and we felt at home straight away.

It was lovely to be met by the owner to explain the hot tub and nothing was too much trouble. It was so clean and the handmade wooden beds and tables were gorgeous. The addition of the hot tub made our stay. The stables is in a perfect location for day trips out for the family. Can’t wait to go back!!

The Stables was a delight to stay in.

The owners were fantastic and very friendly. A very comfortable and enjoyable holiday. The only thing I think could be improved is that the owners supply lots of things like washing up liquid, toilet rolls, kitchen rolls, tissues etc but because it is not listed you end up bring it with you even though you don’t need to. One of the best places we have stayed!

Stables cottage was absolutely perfect .

It was spacious , airy and immaculately clean . Extremely comfortable sofa and bed . Loved the decor - you get the wow factor as you enter the property . Fabulous totally private hot tub made the whole stay relaxing . It couldn’t have been better . Would love to return .

Could have done with an iron but that’s a tiny inconvenience in the grand scheme of things. Would love to go back!

The Stables was a beautiful place to stay, very comfortable, spotlessly clean and had everything we needed.

The hot tub was amazing to relax in the evenings. Owners, Annabelle & Steve, came to greet us & popped by to make sure everything was ok for us. They were friendly & very helpful, giving us ideas of places to visit, eat, etc. We had a great week staying there & would definitely recommend!

The property was immaculate, clean and comfortable, with the jacuzzi being the icing on the cake.

The owners Steve and Annabelle were very friendly and available, if needed. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there and would recommend to family and friends.

The accommodation was first class and the location was great as Sidmouth, Paignton, Bere and Seaton being close by meaning there’s lots of things to do.

Perfect Stay!

!! The Stables was just what we needed for our family holiday. The accommodation, facilities were spot on. The Stables was spotless when we arrived, and had everything we needed to make our week comfortable and easy. Annabelle and Steve were so friendly and inviting. The text message on our arrival day was a lovely touch, and ideal when travelling a fair distance, to be able to keep in touch with updates on our arrival time. Great location to explore many areas. The farm shop is a must when staying here, beautiful produce and the cafe serves a lovely breakfast. Our daughter enjoyed going in the hot tub every day... We will definitely recommend this property to our friends and family.... and will hopefully return one day. Thank you for a lovely holiday!

This property is just outstanding it really has got the wow factor, you are made to feel so welcome right from the beginning by Steve & Annabelle, they are the loveliest people.

The stables is a little gem and it is like home from home. The cleanliness is amazing the little details are just perfect, from the design of the decor to the lush very comfortable beds. The garden area is lovely with a gorgeous hot tub to unwind in and chill out on the garden furniture. It really is 5 star and the 4 days we stayed there were perfect . So thank you to Steve & Annabelle.

Hot tub was fantastic, especially when the sun went down.

My partner and I booked The Stables for a break away and we were amazed at the visual and cleanliness.

Steve came and introduced himself on our arrival along with showing us around and how to use the hot tub and other appliances, he also informed us that he in-fact crafted the beds himself and they’re beautiful, the workmanship is outstanding. All means to cook and clean are available, linens and towels were ready for us to use. We have nothing to say in the way of anything that could be changed. It was simply beautiful, and we also were informed about places to eat, visit and lovely walking areas as we are big fans of seeing the natural lands and landmarks. Thanks again Steve and family we will return again

Absolutely lovely best place in uk have stayed, met owner Steve when arrived showed us around lovely touch nothing worst than not knowing how things work in other people's property.

Owners Steve & Annabelle made a great job of the whole Stable all workmanship & deco all beautiful all coordinated that went into it is out of this world, everything kept nice and little extras to make our trip like home, outside amazing all secluded hot tub nice. Will be going back again great chill out place

An Outstanding Property We were greeted with a very warm welcome from Annabelle and Steve.

The accommodation was immaculate inside and outside, spacious and relaxing especially the hot tub located in the private patio area. It had everything you wanted and more. The extra touches of coffee, tea, milk and biscuits provided on arrival were a welcome surprise, as were all the cleaning products and all of these supplied at no extra cost. The location is great as coastal towns, bars and restaurants are all nearby. It is definitely a 5 star rating. I would highly recommend this accommodation.

A fantastic property in a great location to explore the Jurassic Coast.

The care and attention put into the property to both build it and then run it is obvious from both Steve and Annabelle, it was very well equipped, spotlessly clean, tastefully furnished to a high standard, spacious and very relaxing (even with two young children). Little extras like locally made biscuits, plentiful tea/coffee, fresh milk for arrival, hand soap in every room, cleaning products etc are a rarity in self catering cottages but really make a difference and makes this a standout property. We plan on returning in the future!

We visited for 3 nights over the May Bank Holiday weekend and could not have been happier with our time at The Stables.

The property was immaculate and had everything we needed and more. The location was ideal, it was easy to park, and the hot tub was a huge hit with our kids. The hosts were very welcoming and communication was excellent throughout. They even left us milk in the fridge and biscuits on the table which were much appreciated after a long drive from Chester. We hope to come back for a longer stay soon!

Due to the lack of a Dishwasher and Washing machine and a poorly kitted kitchen ,this is not five star

Everything and more fantastic stay Alan was very helpfull and cheerful we will be booking again soon

Loved the hot tub was disappointed no dishwasher or washing machine expected these with a 5 star rating otherwise it was lovely
