    “A lovely location with a beautiful view of Charmouth coastline but sadly we won’t be returning.”

    A nice location and lodge for a holiday stay but things not as per the property description. No microwave (but description said there was), light bulbs need replacing, clock batteries need replacing, nowhere to hang clothes as small hanging area filled with extra bedding but too small for dresses anyhow. Very rude, intimidating and aggressive cleaner on exiting the Lodge. Poor service from Lyme Bay Holidays. Will never be booking with them again in future & have made a formal complaint ...

A very comfortable and well presented lodge enjoying the most spectacular panoramic coastal views over Charmouth, Golden Cap and the stunning Jurassic coast. Perfect for a seaside holiday, Charmouth boasts an unspoilt beach and superb coastal walks as well as a good range of village shops, pubs and amenities. From its elevated position, the lodge has the most picturesque views across stunning Dorset coastline from the open plan living area. French doors open onto a decked area at the front providing an ideal spot to enjoy some alfresco dining or to simply sit with your favourite glass of wine and appreciate this most enviable of locations. A welcome pack for your arrival ensures a great start to your holiday and will include milk, tea and a selection of locally sourced produce and treats. The picturesque seaside town of Lyme Regis is only a short journey away where you can enjoy a stroll around the famous Cobb harbour or join one of the many fishing or boat trips on offer. With a great selection of restaurants on offer why not complete your day out with a meal overlooking the bay. Further afield the sub-tropical gardens and the Abbotsbury Swannery are great places to visit. Please note: This property can sleep a maximum of 3 guests. There is no cot space in the bedrooms.
