Shepherds Hut at East Hill Prideis situated on a working fruit farm just outside Sidmouth, this wonderfully rustic shepherd’s hut offers a simple, back‑to‑nature escape with far‑reaching views towards Dartmoor and across the orchards. Guests can also enjoy the convenience of the on-site farm shop, stocked with local produce and refreshments, as well as the tea rooms serving breakfasts and traditional cream teas, ideal when you fancy a treat without leaving the farm. Surrounded by rolling countryside, the setting is ideal for walking, whether it’s joining stretches of the South West Coast Path for dramatic sea views, enjoying scenic cliff‑top walks along the Jurassic Coast, or opting for gentler riverside ambles through the nearby valleys. With the coast just a short drive away, you can easily balance peaceful rural days with time by the sea. Sidmouth’s elegant seafront is perfect for a traditional day out, with its wide promenade, striking red cliffs and relaxed, unhurried atmosphere. Enjoy a stroll along the Esplanade, stop off at a café overlooking the beach, or explore the town’s independent shops and gardens.
