But the shower needed a non slip mat as the base was dangerously slippery; the single bed mattress was very uncomfortable with the springs sticking through; the TV was incredibly difficult to work (and we are not technophobes) and we could not access the normal BBC and ITV channels, so a guide would have been useful; a small sharp kitchen knife would have been helpful; and there was no welcome pack or washing up liquid which although not obligatory would have been a nice gesture as the many other properties we have stayed at have usually provided.

Of course, everyone has their own preference when it comes to mattresses but we have had one of our team down to the property to check and we have been assured that it is in good condition. I do apologise that you had trouble with the TV. I can only think that the signal was poor while you were in the property as it is up and running well now. We have also made sure that washing up liquid is well stocked in the property and an inventory in the kitchen has taken place. 3 Bay View Court is a two bedroomed, first-floor apartment situated in Lyme Regis, Dorset. This centrally located seaside apartment boasts stunning sea views and is just a short walk from a range of shops, pubs, eateries and the beach; whether you’re a family, friends or couples, this is an ideal base to explore this wonderful town on the Jurassic Coast.

Being so close to amenities, you’ll want to head out and explore Lyme Regis, a charming seaside town with its iconic Cobb harbour and family friendly beach. The nearby Lyme Regis Museum is a great way to learn about the town’s past and discover its incredible geology – or why not take a boat trip from the harbour to nearby West Bay taking in views of the Jurassic Coast from the water?
The Axe Valley Wildlife Park, a small and friendly zoo situated in Axminster, is a great day out for the family or the Donkey Sanctuary at Sidmouth is open to visitors throughout the year.
Other popular days out include the pretty fishing village of Beer with its quaint streets, gift shops and galleries or head to neighbouring Seaton, where you can hop on board and take a picturesque tram ride along the river Axe estuary through nature reserves to Colyford and Colyton
