We were disappointed to be notified by Lyme Bay holidays that the welcome pack had been withdrawn. It’s very useful to have a few things like milk and tea/coffee on arrival to avoid having to get up to the shops after a long day travelling.
We received an email from Lyme Bay holidays on the day before we travelled informing us that the heating in the property was “off” and that if we wanted heat ...

We received an email from Lyme Bay holidays on the day before we travelled informing us that the heating in the property was “off” and that if we wanted heat we would have to let them know. In turn they would get the owner to turn the heating on using the owners heating app.
I think this needs looking at; it’s unusual.
Regarding the heating for visitor awareness: When using the thermostat to boost the heating allow 5/10 minutes for the boiler to generate sufficient heat to radiators. At first it appears the boiler isn’t working , but the heat does come through eventually. I think this is happening because, in my experience the radiators would benefit from being balanced.
Again, a lovely cosy property in a great location. Love it.

Your comments will certainly be passed on to the owner for consideration going forward. September was a warm month for Lyme so we didn't have the heating pro-actively on in any of our properties but wanted to at least give you the option if you did need it. It isn't how the heating system works at Bedrock during the colder months but as everyone has a preference during these transitional months, we like to give guests to option where we can.
