    “Lymebay holidays never fail.”

    A very comfortable place to stay with an excellent hamper on arrival. The decor and furnishings were of top quality, and clearly a lot of thought has gone into making this holiday home feel special. The private garden was a lovely space, filled with plants, flowers and nice garden furniture. We liked not being on the ground floor, as this street does get busy and noisy (and is opposite a pub). The house itself felt spacious and well-spread out with quiet rooms at the back of the property. The ...

Those with a pram or mobility issues may struggle with the steep staircase and the distance from the car park.

Wonderfully situated in one of Lyme Regis' prettiest streets, this deceptively spacious stone fronted cottage provides the ideal location for a large family or a group of friends wanting to stay in the heart of this historic West Dorset town. Sympathetically refurbished and presented and furnished to a very high standard, this charming period property oozes character throughout with exposed timber floor boards , original stripped timber doors and some delightful personal touches. The accommodation is principally arranged over the first and second floors, and features a superb Master bedroom with a vaulted ceiling and exposed beams, a lovely sitting room with a woodburner, ideal for those cosy nights in, and a mature walled garden to the rear. A welcome pack for your arrival ensures a great start to your holiday and will include milk, tea and a selection of locally sourced produce and treats. A two minute walk will take you to the seafront and town centre where you can savour Lyme Regis' unique atmosphere and explore the town's fine range of independently owned restaurants, shops and galleries. Please note: Typical of properties of this age, the cottage has narrow, steeper staircases so extra care should be taken by the young or infirm. There is also an area at the top of the first staircase open to the dining room and steep steps in the garden where you are advised to closely supervise young children at all times. Stairgates will not fit in this property. A maximum of 1 dog is accepted. The delightful seaside town of Lyme Regis has much to offer its visitors, boasting a maze of narrow streets filled with craft and antique shops, galleries and cafes. Take a stroll along the world-famous Cobb causeway overlooking the ancient harbour, where fishing trips can be enjoyed, or try your hand at fossil hunting in the area. The scenic coastal path offers excellent walking opportunities and spectacular views of the stunning Jurassic coast, whilst the gently shelving sands and sparkling waters of Lyme Bay provide the perfect place in which to relax and unwind. A holiday destination to savour!

We have been contacted by the local council concerning essential works taking place within the car park from the 3rd Feb for approximately 3-4 weeks weather dependent.
There will be a dedicated area for cars that have a parking permit to display, however please note that EV charging will not be available during this time but Charmouth Road Car Park and Holmbush Car Park chargers will be fully operational.
