“Lovely property in a great location.”

Good facilities. Well maintained. It is worth warning people that there is a fairly steep hill or steps down to town and beach. It was fine for us but we had considered bringing my older parents and they would have struggled.

The property

A wonderful 2 bedroom cottage full of character and charm which enjoys far reaching views of Golden Cap and the Jurassic coastline. A great deal of thought and consideration has gone into the conversation of Cumberland Cottage with the exposed stonework and ceiling beams giving a hint to the property’s age. The spacious, bright and sunny lounge with vaulted ceiling is a fantastic room and well designed to make the most of the coastal views. The large French doors give easy access to the enclosed garden at the front making this a great choice for families. A raised decked seating area provides a great spot to enjoy some "alfresco" dining or to relax with a cold drink while you sit back and watch the children play on the lawn. A 5 - 10 minute walk via the East Cliff pedestrian walkway takes you to the beaches and the town’s many shops, restaurants and pubs. With off road parking for 2 cars this is a perfect choice for those looking for a traditional seaside holiday. A wood burning stove gives the cottage a very cosy feel on colder days and with easy access to the South West Coastal footpath, this is a great choice for all year round breaks. A welcome pack for your arrival ensures a great start to your holiday and will include milk, tea and a selection of locally sourced produce and treats. Please note: A maximum of one dog is accepted.
