Steeped in history, Old Monmouth is believed to be one of the oldest properties in Lyme Regis and still relishes many old original features giving this substantial home a wealth of character and charm. A staircase leads to the lower ground floor with a large family kitchen with Belfast sink and range style oven, and an adjoining dining room making this property adequately equipped to cater for up to 12 guests. The five double bedrooms, charmingly named after Lyme’s notable and historical figures, have the same delightful mix of period character and modern comforts, all with en suite shower rooms and TV's. The twin bedroom has use of a separate bathroom. A welcome pack for your arrival ensures a great start to your holiday and will include milk, tea and a selection of locally sourced produce and treats. A superb holiday home with period style in abundance and ideally situated to enjoy this picturesque seaside town on the stunning Jurassic coast. Please note - A £200 refundable security deposit will be required for all bookings. A maximum of 3 dogs are accepted. Due to the age and history of the building the floors may be uneven in places. The staircase leading to the lower ground floor is fairly steep and very narrow in part. There is a rope hand rail only so care will need to be taken. Due to the width of the staircases, stair gates do not fit the stairs in this property.
