    “What a wonderful historic house, beautifully situated on a working sheep farm.”

    The property had so much character and charm, and the setting was peaceful and relaxing, making it the perfect place for our family to stay. The size of the house was ideal for our family, with plenty of space for everyone to relax and unwind. All of the beds were very comfortable, which made for a great night’s sleep after busy days exploring the local area. Having three bathrooms was also a real bonus, particularly for a family, and made our stay much more convenient. The location was ...

The size of the house was ideal for our family, with plenty of space for everyone to relax and unwind. All of the beds were very comfortable, which made for a great night’s sleep after busy days exploring the local area. Having three bathrooms was also a real bonus, particularly for a family, and made our stay much more convenient. The location was excellent, with easy access to a number of local attractions and places of interest. It was lovely to have the tranquillity of the countryside while still being within a reasonable distance of everything we wanted to visit. Lorraine was a fantastic host — very friendly, welcoming and helpful. She was always available should we have needed anything, although thankfully we experienced no issues at all during our stay. Overall, we had a wonderful time and thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful property. The combination of the historic character, comfortable accommodation, peaceful farm setting and excellent location made it a memorable experience. We would have no hesitation in recommending this property to others and would happily stay here again in the future.
