    “A nicely maintained and well equipped apartment.”

    It has its own entrance and was wonderfully quiet, with the added bonus of off-road parking (ample space for a large car). Great location: less than 15 minute walk to Charmouth beach and just 5 minutes to a friendly pub (The George) selling local beers and good food (another good pub, the Royal Oak, about 15 minutes walk away). Also within a few minutes walk are local stores, take-away, bakery, and buses to Lyme Regis and beyond. Upon arrival we were greeted with a very generous welcome pack ...

Upon arrival we were greeted with a very generous welcome pack and we were encouraged to make use of the owner's lovely river-side garden. Would definitely return to Bridge House Apartment when next visiting Charmouth and the beautiful Jurassic coast.

The property

This recently re-furbished and modernised two bedroom apartment forms part of a quietly located house in the traditional coastal village of Charmouth. Providing very comfortable accommodation, a lovely feature of the property is its large enclosed rear garden making it ideal for children and pets. The front garden has the River Char running alongside (supervision will be needed with young children) and there is a table and chairs on the terrace making this a peaceful spot to relax and enjoy the afternoon and evening sun while listening to the sound of the water. The village shops, pubs and restaurants and well equipped playing fields are all within a very short walk. The famous fossil beach is about a 10 minute stroll down a level traffic free walkway. With off-road parking for 2 cars, this is an excellent base for couples and small families to enjoy the Jurassic Coast and all it has to offer. Please note: A maximum of 1 dog is accepted.
