    Yes, there are compromises to be made one of which is lack of storage in bedrooms. I agree with a previous review that a small unit with drawers to replace the bedside tables would be useful. Also, if you are not very tall the shelves in the bedroom, particularly the main one, are too high to be used. A couple of lower shelves, instead of the picture, would be a great help. We haven’t yet been put off staying here as we have returned home after our fourth stay, and we hope to return next ...

The property

This delightful traditional seaside chalet is situated on the much sought after Bowling Green Chalet Park, just a short walk from the beach and Lyme Regis' famous Cobb Harbour. The light and airy interior has a modern contemporary feel with white painted internal walls contrasting with natural wood floor coverings. The property benefits from lovely triple aspect living room with French doors which open out on to a large south facing timber deck where one can enjoy a pleasant outlook over the bowling green behind and views of the sea beyond. With pubs, restaurants and even a fresh fish shop closeby and the town centre just a 10-12 minute walk away, this property will appeal to couples or a pair of friends wanting a convenient base from which to explore this delightful coastal town and the surrounding area. The delightful seaside town of Lyme Regis has much to offer its visitors, boasting a maze of narrow streets filled with craft and antique shops, galleries and cafes. Take a stroll along the world-famous Cobb causeway overlooking the ancient harbour, where fishing trips can be enjoyed, or try your hand at fossil hunting in the area.
