    “We had such a lovely, peaceful stay at High Cliff Orchard.”

    The property is beautiful and incredibly comfortable, with every facility we could possibly need. A huge bonus was being able to get our laundry done before heading home—it made the return to reality so much easier! The grounds are stunning, and our dog had the best time roaming the garden, though do keep in mind it isn't fully enclosed, so we kept a close eye on him. It’s a perfect location, only about a 15-minute walk from the beach in Lyme Regis. The owner was so friendly and even left a ...

High Cliff Orchard is a spacious detached property located in a quiet cul de sac on the western side of Lyme Regis, approximately a 15 minute walk from the seafront, the family friendly beach, shops, and a wide choice of places to eat. With appealing sea views across Lyme Bay from the garden and parts of the house, it is well suited to families or groups, with two well behaved dogs are welcome. Inside, the house is arranged to provide comfortable and practical accommodation. The generous sitting room includes blue sofas and French windows that lead directly into the adjoining sunroom, a bright area overlooking the garden with additional seating. The kitchen/diner offers plenty of workspace, a central dining table, and all the essential facilities required for preparing and sharing meals. On the ground floor is a large super king bedroom with an en suite bathroom featuring a bath, shower cubicle, basin, and WC. The first floor houses two further bedrooms: a twin room with coastal views and a family room containing a double bed and bunk beds. These are served by a first floor bathroom equipped with a bath, separate shower enclosure, basin, and WC. Outside, the sunroom opens onto a patio where you can enjoy a relaxing evening with a glass of your favourite beverage in hand. The secluded garden also offers a large lawn and shrubs. The property also benefits from off road parking for up to three cars and includes a welcome pack for guests on arrival. High Cliff Orchard provides convenient access to Lyme Regis and its well known attractions. The town’s sandy, family friendly beach is ideal for swimming, paddling, or simply spending time by the sea. The historic Cobb - Lyme Regis’ iconic harbour wall - offers scenic walks, boat trips, and excellent coastal views. The town centre is home to an extensive range of independent shops selling local crafts, produce, art, and fossils, along with numerous cafés, pubs, and restaurants. Situated on the Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site, Lyme Regis is also a popular destination for fossil hunting, particularly along Monmouth Beach and the main town beach. Additional attractions, including museums, galleries, the aquarium, and landscaped public gardens, provide plenty to explore for families, walkers, and those seeking a relaxed coastal break.
