“Beautiful cottage in a gorgeous location.”
Big enough for a family of 4 plus a small dog.
The washing machine and dryer were much appreciated in February, we were so muddy every day!
The underfloor heating kept the cottage to a comfortable temperature and we used the log burner every night to get super-cosy and warm. The kitchen was well equipped and easy to keep clean and tidy, plenty of storage for food and drinks. Views are OUTSTANDING.
The garden was plenty big enough and safe for our little dog to mooch, I can imagine it ...

The garden was plenty big enough and safe for our little dog to mooch, I can imagine it would be glorious to sit out there in the sunshine but unfortunately we weren't blessed with the weather!
Beds are so comfortable, with feather/down duvets and pillows. Towels were soft and easy to wash part-way through our stay.
Plenty of sockets to charge devices, most have USB slots too so you don't need to pack the adaptors. No shaver points in the bathrooms so we had to use an adaptor to charge our toothbrush.
The location is lovely, just outside the tiny village of Dalwood where the pub is a must-visit. Good location to discover the surrounding towns, although the country lanes nearby have seen better days (bring a spare tyre!). Recommend a visit to Sidmouth, it's a lovely town and most shops are open out of season. We've been a few times and stopped at the Blue Ball pub on the way home.
