    “Lovely place and the cottage was great but it was further out of Charmouth than we'd hoped.”

    My mum has had a hip replacement so there was no way we could get into Charmouth but to drive. I think that should be stated on the listing.

This well presented holiday property, 51 Fernhill Heights, is located between the coastal town of Charmouth and the picturesque seaside town of Lyme Regis, on the World heritage Jurassic Coast in Dorset. 51 Fernhill Heights accommodates four guests and their dog and offers an open-plan living area, a fully furnished kitchen with an excellent selection of appliances, and an enclosed garden area with outdoor chairs so you can dine alfresco in the warmer months. When you enter the property after unloading in the off-road parking area, you'll find a stylish, clean interior with a living area with plush sofa and seating where you can relax in front of the Smart TV. There is also a large dining area and separate breakfast bar, which is the perfect place to enjoy a morning coffee before going into the nearby town. After a long day, retire to one of the two perfectly kept bedrooms—a king-size or a twin, both with ample storage for your belongings. Guests have the choice of the ground-floor shower room or first floor bathroom, both beautifully finished and tastefully styled. When you head out, the nearby town of Charmouth has a lot to offer. Try a spot of fossil hunting on the beach or visit the Charmouth Heritage Centre, which features fossil exhibits and local artefacts, before treating your loved ones to a filling dinner and a refreshing drink in one of the many pubs that are available. The neighbouring coastal town of Lyme Regis offers a great day out. Try learning about marine life at the Lyme Regis Marine Aquarium located on the famous Cobb Harbour or spending the day on the family friendly sandy beach, there is undoubtedly something here to please all visitors. The market town of Bridport, which boasts wonderful attractions like the Bridport Museum, an eclectic mix of independently owned shops, restaurants, and cafes, and tours at Palmer's, England's only thatched brewery, are all easily accessible from here.
