“Hi there, We stayed from 29 th of June until the 7 th of July.”

The house was really dirty when we came in. Doghairs were everywhere. We found a dirty a dirty sock and even a hard dried out sausage under the couch. The water boiler was full of fungus, the plates and glasses in the kitchen were not clean at all. There was no warm water in the kitchen to do the dishes! The beds were really sweaty, felt like we were wrapped in a plastic microwave..there was a broom..a plastic one with a big dent in it.Used it twice and it snapped. We even had to buy our own pans ...

We even had to buy our own pans because the ones in the house were dirty and scratched. This is really risky for your health!! We were glad we left after a week. The environment was lovely but i wouldn't even recommended this house to my worst enemy.

Hi sorry to read your comments and honestly I am shocked. We’re with an agency and pay a lot of money to have our holiday home professionally cleaned and all linen is changed with fresh towels. We shall put in a formal complaint now. I’m confused by the comment re the boiler - full of fungus? We will speak to the holiday letting company as we don’t know how you can access the boiler. We also have copious amounts of hot water so again I don’t understand this comment either Fernhill is beautiful and it’s a special holiday home for us and our family. I’m sorry you didn’t enjoy your time there. We appreciate the feedback and will be contacting the letting agency now. Property Owner
