To be fair, we had the most perfect weather imaginable but it was
topped off by staying in this lovely apartment.
The owners have clearly made an effort to make you feel welcome. The bottle
of wine was a lovely touch. The apartment itself is beautifully appointed.
It's been newly refurbished and had everything we needed for ourselves, our
two boys and our dog.
It is a good 10-15 minute walk to town and 20 minutes right to the beach
although we weren't hurrying so you could probably do it more ...

It is a good 10-15 minute walk to town and 20 minutes right to the beach
although we weren't hurrying so you could probably do it more quickly. As
other reviews have said, the walk back is very much uphill but it's Lyme
Regis - you expect a few hills! Best route is down the path to the side of
the property and then a lovely walk along the river into town.
The next time we're planning to come this way, we'll definitely look to
stay at Lyme Zest again.
