“A lovely well equipped comfortable character cottage furnished to a high standard.”

Great location quiet but minutes away from the town centre and beach with the added bonus of its own garden and parking space We were luckily to have great weather during our stay, the only thing we felt was missing was a parasol to offer some shade in the lovely sunny garden. We would definitely recommend this cottage.

The property

A delightful 4 star Gold property, a beautifully presented Grade II listed cottage nestled amongst the candy coloured cottages in this quiet part of old Lyme. The nearby river walk provides a level and picturesque walk alongside the River Lym past the historic town mill to the nearby shops, restaurants and seafront. Keep an eye out for the 'Banksy' mural as you cross over the Gosling Bridge. This property has been designed and sympathetically refurbished and furnished to a very high standard retaining many of the original and character features including window seats and beams. A welcome pack for your arrival ensures a great start to your holiday and will include milk, tea and a selection of locally sourced produce and treats. A rear garden with patio furniture offers a place to sit outside and catch the evening sunshine and the perfect place to unwind after a day at the beach or walking one of the nearby coastal footpaths. The off-road parking is a real bonus in this central location. Please note: There is no cot space in this property.
