There is dust under beds and cabinets.
A significant amount of water leaks through the kitchen back double-glazed window when it rains heavily.
A small shelf near the basin in the en-suite would be very useful.
The plates in the kitchen are showing their age and should be replaced. One glass is chipped.
One toilet roll is not enough. We bought more.
Purchased batteries for the bedroom tv remote.

The lounge lamp on the sideboard is intermittent due to the cable entering the in-line switch is not making good contact.
We have stayed in Mareeba three times and in 2 other properties on the Seaton seafront and, despite the comments above, rate Mareeba as, by far, the best overall for small groups.
Thankyou for your detailed feedback, most of which we were very disappointed to read. However, it is only through hearing directly from our guests that we can maintain and improve the standards we would care to offer.
If we may, we will take your points one at a time:
1. The toilet seat in the en-suite has been tightened as it had become loose.
2. As for dust under the beds and cabinets, we have notified Lyme Bay Holidays, as they provide the cleaning and laundry service.
3. The kitchen window and the ingress of water has never been an issue known to us before. We will investigate on the next change-over day.
4. We will look at providing a small shelf in the en-suite, space permitting.
5. Crockery and glassware is checked regularly, but we have obviously missed something here, and this will be rectified immediately.
6. The supply of toilet rolls has never been an issue before, but we will arrange to have some extra rolls placed in the hall cupboard next to the kitchen.
7. The TV remote controls are regularly checked to make sure they are working, but this has obviously been overlooked.
8. The outside area which accommodates all the refuse bins is something beyond our direct control. The area is used by numerous residents in other apartments and no matter how hard we try to keep the area presentable, it is not always possible.
9. The lamp on the sideboard, as you rightly said to us , was loose at the switch and could have been caused by the lead being inadvertently pulled too hard. The lamp had been PAT tested recently and had been found to have been working perfectly. We have checked the connections and the lamp is now in perfect working order.
Finally, we were delighted to read your comments regarding your overall praise of our apartment.
We look forward to welcoming you back for your fourth visit.
Kind regards,
Diane and Martin Paley.
