Fantastic accommodation in a beautiful part of Devon, wonderful hosts and amenities.

We would love to return and would highly recommend Garlands at Beer.

Seaside Inn is spacious, light and very clean and a wonderful place for 4 of us and our dog. We loved being close to Beer and walked there everyday for a walk on the beach. Are at The Anchor Inn one evening. Had a gorgeous walk in Uplyme to Lyme Regis and another in Branscombe - both recommended by wonderful owners Lesley & Justin. Such a great spot for a long weekend (or a week). Beautiful garden and views. We’ll definitely come back another time.

The overall accommodation was very good, great size bedrooms and fantastic views.

Our critism is the noise generated from the water taps, toilets and extractor fan in the twin room en-suite. If you are light sleepers, then dont flush the toilets or wash your hands during the night, the noise and vibrations seem to go on for ages, not great nights sleep had by occupants in double room

The Seaside Inn at The Garlands in Beer is a really lovely cottage with everything you could possibly wish for.

It is spotlessly clean, comfortable and warm with beautiful sea views and a fabulous well tended garden. We would love to return and were are grateful to the owners, Lesley and Justin, who were so friendly and helpful.

We chose this property over others chiefly for the view and it did not disappoint.

The cream tea on arrival was a lovely thought and much appreciated, as was the tea, coffee, dishwasher tabs and other odds and bits not always provided by owners. As I explained to the owner, what let it down was the poor attention to detail of the cleaners. While flat surfaces waist to head height had clearly been dusted, other areas clearly had not. Similar the ensuite basin had been cleaned, but not the plug. The top of the cooker was covered in burnt on spilt/boiled over food, and two baking trays and a plate had been put away without being cleaned. We have been to many properties that were better equipped and to a higher standard than this, for example, there were only two saucepans, both of them large. Generally it was a very pleasant property with a very friendly and helpful owner. Such a shame it was let down by the cleaning. This is all the more serious, given that so many viruses are still rife at the moment, e.g. covid, 'flu, Winter vomiting etc. Having just checked your cleaning guidelines, it is clear that the cleaners of this property are not adhering to them.

We felt on holiday, but also at home from the moment we arrived.

A warm welcome from the owners and a lovely cream tea on the table! The information file had everything we needed. The cottage was cosy during an unexpected storm. Otherwise we made full use of our patio and the larger shared garden. We enjoyed every minute of our stay.

Beautiful location close to Beer and Seaton with lovely sea views.

The cottage is clean and very comfortably furnished with everything you need. Lovely cream tea ready for you on arrival. The hosts are really warm and welcoming. We were two couples staying and the two en-suite bedrooms were perfect for us. We all look forward to returning one day. Definitely recommend.

The washer dryer was inaccessible and not really useable

One very small point, a shower mat is required in the ensuite bathroom as awkward stepping out over the wet bath as slippy.

We had a lovely stay, views beautiful and the cottage was spotless and had everything we needed.

Close to the beach and the town and would highly recommend.

Excellent week at the Seaside Inn.

Wonderful views of the sea to wake up to each morning. Well equipped apartment and we will definitely consider a return visit.

We found the property was beautifully immaculate with everything we needed to make our stay very enjoyable.

We arrived to find a delightful afternoon tea of fresh scones, jam and cream had been left for us, which was very welcome after a long journey. The garden and views from the property are outstanding and only a very short walk into Beer with its lovely beach and pubs. We look forward to a return visit soon.

Accommodation had everything you would need and lovely views. Ideal location for visiting various resorts and for walks. Use of the garden was great for the dog and the cream tea on arrival was a lovely touch.

A beautiful location with views down to the sea over an immaculately kept garden.

It was a perfect size for my husband, son, his fiancee and me to stay. The owner lived next door and was very knowledgeable about the area.

This was our second visit to Seaside Inn this year and we were not disappointed.

Great location and excellent cottage with all those things you expect and a little bit more. Loved the cream tea and also we got a bottle of fizz for our wedding anniversary which was a lovely touch. Brilliant hosts Lesley, Julian and Louie. We will be back again to this lovely holiday cottage.

All equipment for self catering provided. Lesley and Justin were amazing hosts and nothing was too much trouble for them. Lovely to have off road parking and the welcome cream tea was delicious.

The cottage was spotless and there was everything we needed to be comfortable. You were so friendly and welcoming, with some great tips for the local area. The scones very much appreciated too! Stunning garden with lovely views. Beer is a lovely little village. Can't recommend Gina's and The Smuggler's Kitchen highly enough, food in both is amazing! Lyme Regis is worth a visit as is Sidmouth. Have had a fabulous week

Beautiful house.

Clean, warm and very cosy. We felt like we were the first people to have ever stayed here. The afternoon tea that you left us was such a thoughtful touch. It was absolutely delicious.

Our recommendations for walks are Beer to Seaton then tram to Colyton and back.

Beer to Branscombe if you don't want to do the steps coming back, there is a bridle path which is much easier! Our favourite pub in the village is The Dolphin. Accommodation is lovely, great views, comfy beds. Thank you for the welcome goodies

The house is amazing.

It has allowed rest and relaxtion after exploting the most beautiful part of the country. This has been on of (if not the best) holiday I can recall!
