Offering wonderful sea and coastal views Westdale Edge is an impressive, detached 4-bedroom house situated on the outskirts of this popular Devon seaside town. Surrounded by mature gardens of almost an acre the property provides very comfortable accommodation for up to 8 guests. Perfect for a relaxing family holiday this light, bright and spacious 1930's house has a south-facing aspect which from its vantage point allows some truly wonderful views of Lyme Bay. Seaton is a designated gateway to the Jurassic coast and is situated midway between Lyme Regis and Sidmouth and the coastal path goes past the front of the house. It has a number of pubs and restaurants and is famous for its Jurassic Coast Visitors Centre, Tramway and beautiful Estuary Wetlands, a haven for wildlife, especially birds. A welcome pack for your arrival ensures a great start to your holiday and will include milk, tea and a selection of locally sourced produce and treats. Around half a mile from the beach and town and with ample parking this is an attractive retreat from which you can enjoy this stunning part of world heritage coastline. Please note: A refundable £100 security deposit will be required for all bookings. Supervision of younger children may be required both in the extensive gardens and when using the first floor balconies. The french doors from the dining room do not open. Seaton is a seaside town in East Devon on the south coast. It faces onto Lyme Bay, to the west of the mouth of the River Axe with red cliffs to one side and white cliffs on the other. Axmouth and Beer are nearby. A sea wall provides access to the mostly shingle beach stretching for about a mile, and a small harbour. Seaton is on the stretch of Devon coastline, known as the Jurassic Coast, a designated World Heritage Site, and the town offers a good range of shops, friendly cafes, restaurants and pubs.
