    “A beautiful, well equipped house, exactly as shown on the website.”

    The only problem was an unpleasant smell on the whole of the ground floor which made it unusable (one of our party did try on the first night but hardly slept because of it, so moved to the third floor on the second night. There were only 6 of us so fortunately there was a spare bedroom). If that problem can be sorted out it will be perfect.

With off- road parking for two cars this fine property is the perfect base from which to explore this delightful town and this stretch of the World renowned Jurassic Coast. A welcome pack for your arrival ensures a great start to your holiday and will include milk, tea and a selection of locally sourced produce and treats. Seaton’s unique range of shops, tea rooms, pubs and restaurants are right on the doorstep and the beach and mile long seafront are within a 5 minute walk. From here you can take a leisurely stroll out to Axmouth’s picturesque harbour or take a walk over the cliffs to the neighbouring village of Beer, home to the Quarry Caves and Pecorama tourist attractions. Seaton’s famous electric tramway is certainly worth a visit taking you on a scenic 3 mile journey up the Valley and through the Seaton wetlands nature reserve to the historic town of Colyton. Seaton is a seaside town in East Devon on the south coast. It faces onto Lyme Bay, to the west of the mouth of the River Axe with red cliffs to one side and white cliffs on the other. Axmouth and Beer are nearby. A sea wall provides access to the mostly shingle beach stretching for about a mile, and a small harbour. Seaton is on the stretch of Devon coastline, known as the Jurassic Coast, a designated World Heritage Site, and the town offers a good range of shops, friendly cafes, restaurants and pubs.
