“What a perfect house, it had everything that we could possibly need, it was very much a home from home.”
Clean and comfortable. It was within walking distance (along the old railway line) to West Bay, with its restaurant's and eating places, plus the beach, also could walk to Bridport which is a lovely market town. The house was situated in a quiet close with no noisy cars or people, it was perfect. The only thing I would say, is that I was disappointed that all the rubbish collected went into one bin, instead of being able to recycle. There was a food bin and I spoke to a neighbour who let me use his recycling bin to half the black bin rubbish. But apart from that small thing the house was really great. Thank you would very much recommend and would not hesitate to stay again.

West Bay, fondly known as “The Gateway to the Dorset Jurassic Coast” and popularised by the TV series Broadchurch, lies close to the glorious sandstone cliffs of Golden Cap, at the western end of the dramatic pebbly Chesil Beach. This is a wonderful seaside location, perfect for family holidays, offering scenic walks along the South West Coast Path, as well as ample opportunities to try your hand at sea fishing, crabbing, boating and golf. Visit the homes of Thomas Hardy and TE Lawrence, the Tank Museum at Bovington or the Naval Air Museum at Yeovil. Only 1.5 miles away is the vibrant market town of Bridport, featured in the TV series, River Cottage. The area holds plenty of attractions to suit the whole family!
