It was fascinating to see the cows coming and going for milking. There was no noise or mess to deal with even though the farm is quite close. Once off the main road the lanes to access East Barn are mainly single track. There are some interesting places to visit which are not far to access by car. Once off the main road the lanes to access East Barn are mainly single track. There are some interesting places to visit which are not far to access by car. East Barn is a lovely property with a drive for parking, a fenced, grassy area for a garden and a concrete patio. Inside all 3 bedrooms are downstairs with a family bathroom, utility room which all have good quality, comfortable furnishings, fittings and appliances. Upstairs is a galley kitchen, large, light, airy lounge and dining area and an extra shower room with WC & hand basin. The furnishings, fittings and appliances are all of good quality and very comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped with all we needed for the week. We were a party of 3 adults and 2 dogs and had a lovely time staying at East Barn which made our holiday very special. The cottage was very calming and easy to relax in and the views were superb. One of the best places I have had the pleasure to stay in when renting a cottage.
