    “Excellent holiday property for families with children.”

    Garden well equipped, kitchen well kitted out with everything you could need, even for picnics. Utility room set up with washing machine, drier and outside clothes line and pegs. Lots of games for colder days and nights. Close to Westbay and amenities with a public footpath taking you off the road not far from the house. Downstairs toilet. For the Owners The downsides were, some of the rooms needed refreshing decoration wise. The Two armchairs in the lounge were uncomfortable. Only one TV ...

Ideally situated between Bridport and West Bay, The White House is a delightful, Georgian town house converted from a small hotel. Providing comfortable, spacious accommodation the property has been sympathetically modernised and is well equipped with everything needed for a relaxed family holiday. The accommodation is arranged over three floors and to the rear there is a delightful, west facing, walled garden with seating and a large lawn. With the traditional market town of Bridport and West Bay's beach and historic harbour, all less than 1 mile away, the property is wonderfully located for a wide range of shops, restaurants, pubs and cafes. This stunning part of West Dorset is at the heart of the National World Heritage Site of the Jurassic Coast, a unique 95-mile stretch of rugged coastline. Please note: A maximum of two dogs are accepted. WEST BAY

Bridport 1.5 miles; Lyme Regis 11 miles.

West Bay, fondly known as “The Gateway to the Dorset Jurassic Coast” and popularised by the TV series Broadchurch, lies close to the glorious sandstone cliffs of Golden Cap, at the western end of the dramatic pebbly Chesil Beach. This is a wonderful seaside location, perfect for family holidays, offering scenic walks along the South West Coast Path, as well as ample opportunities to try your hand at sea fishing, crabbing, boating and golf. Visit the homes of Thomas Hardy and TE Lawrence, the Tank Museum at Bovington or the Naval air Museum at Yeovil. Only 1.5 miles away is the vibrant market town of Bridport, featured in the TV series, River Cottage. The area holds plenty of attractions to suit the whole family! Just a short drive West takes you to Charmouth for fossil hunting, to the picturesque seaside resort of Lyme Regis, and to River Cottage HQ near Axminster. To the East are the lovely Sub-tropical Gardens and Swannery at Abbotsbury, and the golden sands of Weymouth. This wonderful location makes an ideal base for a great family holiday.
