“The only set back was the car parking.”

Luckily we were in no.1 bay so we could squeeze my sons car just behind ours - any of the other bays couldn't be done. Parking in Lyme Regis is sparce and expensive and the park and ride option a good trek uphill. However, the apartment was lovely and homely and would recommend to anyone with one car.

“Lovely comfortable place.”

Beautiful seaside decor and local pictures are a lovely touch. Great view of the sea. A chair which is a bit more comfortable for the balcony would be good. My mother and I had a lovely time. The only thing missing was salt!

“On the whole we enjoyed our stay in Lyme Regis it’s a beautiful place.”

The apartment itself was very comfortable. The shower was not great, due to the lack of power and difficult to regulate the temperature. The location is in on a busy road with heavy traffic, it is very noisy and it would be great if you could provide fans so that you can close the window at night. The patio furniture was not great so was unable to sit outside. If you could have a wish list a washing machine would complete the facilities in the apartment.

“Overall we were pleased with the apartment.”

Welcome pack was a nice touch and the extensive facilities and appliances were all in working order. The rooms are tastefully decorated with a seaside theme. Just a few things need improvement. There is an unpleasant musty smell paticularly in the main bedroom which has been absorbed into our clothing. The car parking space was difficult to access and anyone with a family sized car would not fit in it. The balcony furniture is rusting and needs replacement.

“Overall, our stay at 1 Bay Court was lovely.”

There was pretty much everything you would need and everything was very comfortable. We will definitely book this apartment again. The only negatives were that some areas could really do with a dust (bedside lamps, etc), as the thought of how many people the dust has been generated by is a bit gross. Also, the noise from Church St all night is too much. I know there is nothing that can be done about this, but a warning on the listing would be a good idea, even if it's just to bring ear plugs. Traffic, loud music from lots of cars, main bus route and then bin men in the morning, all made worse by the traffic lights directly outside.....we didn't sleep well at all.

“Just spent a very enjoyable stay in No.”

1 Bay View Court. Very well appointed, with the town and beach only minutes away. Even though close to the main road, the noise level was minimal and did not disturb us at all. The flat had all the amenities we needed and was well furnished with a definite holiday vibe, making it very comfortable with great views. We would certainly recommend staying here and will be looking forward to another fun stay ourselves.
