“A nice cosy cottage in a great location - just a few minutes' walk to the sea front.”
The facilities were fine and there were a few nice touches, such as the welcome pack with lots of goodies when we arrived, and the large toy mountain goat which greeted us and delighted our youngest daughter. It was a real bonus to have parking behind the cottage, as Lyme would have been incredibly difficult to park in - I expect impossible in the summer. The outside space was ok - just a little yard with tables, although we couldn't let our younger child play on her own in the area designated ...
The outside space was ok - just a little yard with tables, although we couldn't let our younger child play on her own in the area designated for the cottage as it was out of sight of the kitchen windows. The cottage was clean and comfortable - the only moan was that the kitchen equipment hadn't been properly washed/checked so we had to scrub the pans and spatulas before use. Some of the equipment could do with replacing, such as the coffee pot, which had a loose handle. Overall, we had a good stay and it served our needs well.
